(main)How to Reset the Cisco Wireless Bridge to Default Settings

 

A. If the Bridge has MODE button, please follow these steps.

Step 1 Unplug power cable from the power injector.

Step 2 Press and hold the MODE button while you re-plug the power cable the power injector..

Step 3 Hold the MODE button until the Status LED on the power injector turns amber, and release the button. When the status LED turns green, the bridge settings return to the factory defaults.

B. You may reset the Bridge using the web-browser interface:

Step 1 Run the Internet browser. 

Step 2 Enter the bridge's IP address in the browser address line and press Enter

Step 3 Enter your username and the password. in the User Name field. The default username and password is Cisco.

Step 4 Click System Software.

Step 5 Click System Configuration.

Step 6 Click the Reset to Defaults button.

C. Use CLI

If the privileged command prompt hostname# is available in the CLI, use the write erase command and the reload command erase the startup configuration and reset the unit.

Note If the bridge is configured with a static IP address, the IP address does not change.
