(main)How to view and save PIX/ASA configuration

1. "copy run start" and "write terminal" to save running-config to startup-config.

2. "show startup-config to view the configuration in flash memory.

3. "show running-config" and "write terminal" to view the current running configuration .

4. copy startup-config running-config - Merges the startup configuration with the running configuration. A merge adds any new commands from the new configuration to the running configuration. If the configurations are the same, no changes occur. If commands conflict or if commands affect the running of the context, then the effect of the merge depends on the command. You might get errors, or you might have unexpected results.
