Can’t access the Internet via USB after enabling NIC for network

Symptom: you access the Internet via a modem or router with a USB connection. To enable ICS to share the Internet access, you add another NIC. You are unable to access the Internet and experience some problems as listing below:

1.      You can’t access the Internet from the ICS host and clients.

2.      You can’t ping a public IP.

3.      You may be able to ping a public IP but unable to ping any web site.

Causes: 1. You have a routing issue. Make sure only Internet connection has default gateway and leave blank on the LAN connection gateway.
